SOUTHERN EUROPE

October 2007

In October of 2007, we traveled southern Europe. We rented a car and drove through the central and Tuscan regions of Italy. We then boarded the Carnival Freedom cruise ship outside of Rome, Italy. We first sailed around to the eastern side of Italy to Croatia, then back around the boot to Sicily, up the western side of Italy to France, then over to Spain. We sailed back to Tuscany and on into Rome, 13 days later. What a wonderful adventure!

Sept 28, 2007 - We flew into London's Gatwick airport on Friday; took the bus over to Heathrow and then we hopped a flight to Milan, Italy via British Airways. We rented a car and found a hotel near the airport and fell into bed at midnight.
