July 14, 2008 - Day At Sea
Dawn broke before 0600 (Land of the Midnight Sun). Did not close drapes enough so it was very bright. Got dressed and off to the gym for a 30 minute treadmill. Lots of very buff folks and even a few of us whales. Attempted to stay out of the 'Princess' way, so toured and saw the early activities. Much cleaning with some folks even enjoying early breakfast. Went to the room and we decided to try the buffet breakfast. Big mistake. ALL you can eat of made to order eggs and everything you could ask for. Very easy to over indulge.

She worked on refining the picture insertion to this blog. I toured and took pictures of boat life. Lunch in the dining room is more sensible...you only eat what is delivered. Good food, fantastic service. The ship has captive audience so 'Sea Days' mean art auctions (not us) and other specials. We found watches for $10.00 US....I know they will not last, so I bought 2. Time for a nap.
We visited more rooms and got fotos of diffierent areas for all passengers. They cater to all with kids, tweens, young adults and multiple rooms for most adult activities.

Dinner and the Broadway like show of 'Beat!' ended the day.
Please set watches one hour earlier for tomorrow......don't be late. |
